Orthodontics within a General or
Pediatric Practice: Practice Management
and Clinical Assisting

Orthodontics within a General or Pediatric Practice:  Practice Management and Clinical Assisting is a program about the clinical and business management of an orthodontic practice and is designed for the entire office staff. It incorporates the multiple aspects of practice management that will educate and prepare the office staff for the delivery of orthodontic treatment within a general or pediatric dental practice.

It is our belief that for maximum office efficiency, staff members should be cross-trained so they can understand everyone's role and responsibilities. We will emphasize the interdependence of these roles and their joint importance on the practice success. We therefore recommend that each staff member (assistant or manager) takes this program in its entirety.

The first day of the program consists of incorporating the administrative or business side of orthodontics into your practice. Day two covers the clinical systems and procedures required to build the necessary chairside skills which are critical for efficient orthodontic care.
